We are so pleased to be able to share our new ‘straight to ICV’ bitesize training module – Trans Awareness. We have converted this bitesize at requests from schemes. You can watch the video here.

The bitesize has the following objectives:

• To ensure ICVs have an excellent understanding of what Transgender/Trans means and how Transgender/Trans differs from sexuality.
• To examine what PACE Code C says on the treatment of Trans detainees.
• To consider what ICVs should look for in terms of treatment in custody of Trans detainees and how to use personal confidence to talk with detainees.
